- Aspen is a luxury residential development in Canary Wharf, London, currently under construction
- our client Socrates Communications is responsible for developing the creative branding and marketing collateral
- a 70m long timber hoarding would be utilised to promote apartment sales with powerful branding and creative marketing designs
- located on a busy road, safety, visibility, quality, and durability were essential
- the design concept included 6 sets of rear illuminated logos, large-scale images, messaging and utilised gold as the primary colour
- header overlays were not to be used to ensure a frameless look
- esp’s role was to advise, manufacture, and install the graphics
process/action
- detailed surveys of the existing hoardings’ front and rear were undertaken
- esp supplied detailed master drawings
- practical and multiple discipline requirements were identified, managed, and communicated by esp via these master drawings
- artwork templates were provided and utilised in the final design layouts
- esp sourced a range of gold alternatives from which a high-end metallic gold vinyl product was selected
- aluminium composite panels (acm) were selected as the principal media – chosen for its versatility
- panel production incorporated precision cnc cutting, application of high-quality printed gold vinyl, anti-graffiti laminate and laser cut illuminated letters
- acm folded corners and custom kickers were produced using the gold
- esp collaborated closely with the main contractor throughout the installation
- apertures to house the light boxes were cut into the existing hoarding maintaining structural integrity
- graphics were installed with precision in conjunction with our survey drawings
